亚航将开通新山-廊曼新航线,全包含税价仅69马币英文原文：AirAsia to begin direct JB-Bangkok flightsKUALA LUMPUR: Budget carrier AirAsia will begin direct flights from Johor Bahru to Bangkok four times a week from July 17.It will accept bookings from tomorrow.
JB-Bangkok will be AirAsia’s eighth route into Thailand after flights from Kuala Lumpur to Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Krabi, Surat Thani and Pattaya.
“Johor Bahru is the third largest city in Malaysia with tremendous travel demand and AirAsia is determined to provide the best connectivity from the south of peninsular Malaysia,” the airline said.
With direct flights, travellers will avoid a transit stop in Kuala Lumpur or commuting to Singapore.
Promotional all-in-fares from RM69 one way, will be available from May 18-May 24 for travel from July 17 to May 31 next year.
The airline is also offering half-price tickets to all destinations, except domestic flights to Indonesia, during the same booking period, for travel from Sept 1 to March 31 next year.
