Update 2200hrs (GMT+8), Monday 13th June 2011

We understand that for now, the ash cloud from the eruption of the Mt Puyehue-Cordon Caulle Volcano in Chile, have reached parts of New Zealand airspace.
However please be informed that our flights to/from New Zealand and Australia are operating as per schedule.

We are currently monitoring the situation very closely. We request that our guests check our website for further updates.

As our guests may be aware, there was an earthquake in Christchurch earlier today.

新西兰昨连发4次地震.13日中午13时01分和14时20分，克赖斯特彻奇连续发生里氏5.5级和里氏6级强烈地震，震源深度大约10公里。地震造成部分供电供水中断，局部出现地基液化现象，部分道路被水淹没，克赖斯特彻奇机场一度关闭。地震造成至少10人受伤，民防部门在考尔斯体育场开设了避难中心。当天早些时候，克赖斯特彻奇还分别发生里氏4.3级和里氏4.4级余震。

智利普耶韦火山群喷发形成的火山灰１３日持续干扰大洋洲空中交通，上百次航班取消，数万旅客受影响。火山灰迄今飘移１万多公里，可能完成“环球”之旅。延误数万人.１２日至１３日，澳大利亚航空公司及旗下捷星航空公司取消１１０次航班，包括澳大利亚国内航班和进出新西兰的航班。共３万多名旅客无法按时成行，不少人取消行程。至当地时间１３日下午，澳大利亚城市墨尔本上空火山灰逐渐散去，澳航和捷星开始恢复进出墨尔本的航班。
