“Airfasttickets.de cancelled my tickets without my consent.”

On May 11th, I booked a flight with Airfasttickets.de from Frankfurt to Bangalore, India for me and my Husband. The airlines operating the flight was Air India.
When I reached the terminal (4 hours before my flight departure), I was told by the airline staff that my tickets had been cancelled. I was obviously taken aback, as I had not requested any cancellation and was holding a confirmed PNR number and seat numbers.
After trying for hours to reach somebody at Airfasttickets, I was initially told that my tickets look fine on their systems. However, after repeated calls, I finally managed to get in touch with somebody who could see that my tickets were cancelled and promised to resolve the issue and provide alternate tickets.
After waiting for 5 hours at the airport(during which time my flight took off), I was told by Airfasttickets representative that nothing can be done and that they will try to refund the cost of my original ticket - effectively leaving me and my husband stranded at Frankfurt airport.
I finally ended up booking my own tickets that cost me several hundred euros more than my original booking and had to wait over 18 hours at the airport for the new flight.
I feel that my consumer rights have been grossly violated. Can somebody point me to a consumer forum or similar in Germany where I can seek redressal ?作者: anyway 时间: 2014-12-4 12:18
