AirAsia’s flight schedules may be affected by Suvarnabhumi Airport’s runway renovation

Bangkok, 11 June 2012

BANGKOK, 11 June 2012- AirAsia informs its passengers that some flight times and schedules may be affected during Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport’s runway renovation during 11 June – 9 August 2012. Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia, stated that AirAsia has received word from Suvarnabhumi International Airport that it will be renovating its east runway between 11 June and 9 August 2012. This will allow the runway to operate at full efficiency after years of use. As a result of the renovation, some flight times and schedules may be affected. Passengers are advised to stay alert and informed about their travel schedule by checking their flight times once they arrive at the airport in order to proceed with their travel plans accordingly.

主要是航班延误，一般不会出现取消或者改期的情况。

走之前查一下就好了。这个跑到维修主要是影响起飞和降落的时间，可能会出现部分航班晚点。
