Hotelopia很多时候房间价格比Agoda低,而且该网站有一个额外收费服务,允许用户有更多免费退订的权利,但是条款比较复杂,哪位玩家能帮助仔细解释下?

OPTIONAL CANCELLATION SERVICE
The normal cancellation period displayed through HOTELOPIA is agreed with the accommodation establishment; therefore, it may vary according to the destination, dates and accommodation establishment. For this reason, HOTELOPIA offers the client the option to extend the cancellation period beyond the normal cancellation period via the optional cancellation service defined as follows.
OPTIONAL CANCELLATION SERVICE: It extends the normal cancellation period. The optional cancellation service lets the final customer cancel the booking at any time, even during the client's stay as long as any of the following circumstances take place. In case the Client cancels the booking during the stay, the Client has the right to be refunded all paid amount for the days left from the moment the cancellation is notified until the end of the booked stay, but not for the days totally or partially enjoyed. The Client should inform Hotelopia customer services directly (the telephone numbers are given on the website and in your booking confirmation voucher) or go to our Contact Us page for more information. With the cancellation communication the client should provide evidence of such event covered by the optional cancellation service in accordance with the agreed on b) below. It is included in this service all the clients registered with their name and surname. The amount of the reimbursement will depend on the proofs and the moment it is notified.
By client or title by definition all persons with the name and surname are included in the optional cancellation service.
a) Covered circumstances:
  • 1. - Death, serious disease, serious injury or sudden worsening of a chronic or pre-existing disease.
    • - The booking holder or married couple.
    • - Kinship: First or Second degree relative.
    • - The guardian assigned to the safekeeping of an underage or legally incapacitated person.
    • - The professional substitute.
    Serious disease means hereby an alteration of the health that implies hospitalization or necessity of medical aid and treatment requiring keeping rest by medical prescription.
    Serious injury means hereby a non self-deliberate corporal damage by the victim, it must be caused by a external sudden action and, in accordance with a professional practitioner; it prevents the booking holder to start the trip or it implies hospitalization or necessity of medical aid and treatment requiring keeping rest by medical prescription on any of the aforementioned people related to the booking holder.
    Sudden worsening of a preexisting chronic disease means hereby the necessity of emergency hospitalization and medical treatment requiring keeping rest by medical prescription.
  • 2. - Cancellation of the trip by a client companion who has also subscribed the optional cancellation service whenever any of the circumstances covered takes place.
  • 3. - Major damages caused to the client's private house or business premises.
  • 4. - Client's non disciplinary dismissal. The dismissal shall be communicated after the optional cancellation service has been contracted.

    This will not apply when the labor contract expires or the booking holder voluntarily resigns or has not passed the work probation successfully.
  • 5. - Taking up a new job in a different company, with labor contract, by the booking holder. The date shall be known after the optional cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 6. - The booking holder is summoned to take part in a Court proceeding, as Party, Jury or witness in a court of law. The notification and the date of the proceeding shall occur after the optional cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 7. - The booking holder is summoned for a competitive examination. The notification and the date of the exam shall occur after the optional cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 8. - The booking holder is summoned to serve as member of an electoral table in a polling station. The notification and the date of the elections shall occur after the cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 9. - The booking holder is summoned for his/her divorce proceeding during the travel. The notification and the date of the proceeding shall occur after the optional cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 10. - The booking holder is summoned for his/her organ transplant surgery date. The notification and the date of the surgery shall occur after the cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 11. - The booking holder is summoned for the submission and/or signing of official documents. The notification and the date of the appointment shall occur after the cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 12. - Booking holder's address or destination is officially declared as disaster zone by the government authorities. This declaration shall be done after the cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 13. - Acts of sea, air or land piracy which will not enable the booking holder to start the trip.
  • 14.- Cancellation of the booking due to the fact that the booking holder will travel, within similar dates, on a similar trip won in a draw and before a public notary.
  • 15. - Theft of the booking holder's documentation or luggage which makes the trip unable to start or continue.
  • 16. - Breakdown or accident of booking holder or his/her married couple's own vehicle which prevents them from starting or continuing the trip. The referred breakdown or accident can not exceed six hours of repair or 600 €.
  • 17. - Booking holder's labor contract extension.
  • 18. - Labor transfer of the booking holder for a minimum period of 2 months to a city different from where the booking holder is currently working.
  • 19. - Booking holder's surgical operation during the dates of the trip. The notification of the operation shall be done after the cancellation service has been contracted.
  • 20.- Booking holder or his/her married couple's pregnancy complications or miscarriage.
  • 21. - Booking holder or his/her married couple's medical quarantine.
  • 22. - Major damages caused by a fire, explosion, theft, or natural disaster to any of the booking holder or married couple's private properties or business premises, or when applicable, the damages is caused to the booking holder's employer's facilities and there is the necessity for the booking holder to attend the Employer's facilities.
  • 23. - Police detention of the booking holder with non-criminal charges.
  • 24. - Reception of an adopted child by the booking holder or his/her married couple.
  • 25. - Visa application rejected by the authorities without justified reasons.
  • 26. - Official scholarship granted to the booking holder to be enjoyed during the same dates booked.
  • 27.-Any illness of a booking holder under 2 years old.
  • 28. - The booking holder is declared bankrupt or insolvent by the competent authority.
b)Documentation required for the refund:
1- Letter from the holder of the optional service to Hotelopia explaining the alleged circumstances.
2- Holiday Voucher containing the contract of the service or the booking confirmation with the total price.
3- All the necessary documentation to prove that any of the aforementioned circumstances took place: Medical or death certificate, summons, dismissal letter, etc.
This optional cancellation service will provide cover for the accommodation as well as to any other of the tourist services booked. Other Service refers to the tickets, transfers and excursions. Therefore, it will be applied on the services provided to the holder of the reservation by Hotelopia.
THE CLIENT can annul the optional cancellation service, as long as he/she report it to Hotelopia within the 24 hours after its acceptance. Otherwise, the amount charged for this service will not be refunded.

同问,发现有得房间还是比较便宜的
