故事是这样的:
3.18 我在IHG官网预订了4晚甲米的假日酒店(Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach),客房类型:2 SINGLE BED PREMIER GARDEN VIEW NOSMK,平均每晚房价฿ 3,161.72 THB,税费总计฿ 973.80 THB,服务费 ฿ 1,264.68 THB,税费合计฿ 14,885.36 THB. (信用卡入账记录为456.56美金,按照入账时间汇率换算为人民币 2825.5129 CNY)当时付款确认时一直选择CNY货币显示,但到最后无论怎么选择到都变成THB结算。
3.19 我在elong上发现这个酒店的相同日期,房型为(Premier Room, 2 Single Beds, Non Smoking, Garden View)的房费为2765.44 CNY。(3月20日刷新为2748.0CNY)
3.19 我就在elong截图后拿这个事情到IHG官网上根据它的最低房价保证(https://www.ihg.com/hotels/cn/zh/customer-care/best-price-guarantee)去申请理论,并按照要求填写了申诉单(https://www.holidayinn.com/hotels/cn/zh/customer-care/forms/claim-lowest-internet-rate)。
3.20我收到回信,内容如下:
Dear XXXXX,
Thank you for contacting our office regarding the Best Price Guarantee in reference to rates at the Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach. We appreciate the opportunity to assist you with this matter.
Referring to the program’s Terms and Conditions, clauses 6 and 11:
6a. Matching Prices. For multi-night stays, the Guarantee compares the average nightly room price and the average nightly total room cost for your valid room booking with those found on a non-IHG website.
6b. Matching Prices - Currency Requirements. The currency of the hotel controls the comparison with the room price and the total room cost on the non-IHG website, and the room price and the total room cost on the non-IHG website must be available, viewable, quoted, booked, and paid for in the currency of the hotel.
Verification of Claims. All claims are subject to verification by IHG. IHG must be able to verify all elements of the claim and the required terms found on the non-IHG website at the time the claim is processed and verify that both the room price and the total room cost at the time of verification are lower than those found on the IHG website.
Given competing site www.elong.com is not charging in Thailand Baht, being the hotel’s local currency.
For your convenience, below are the following currencies which www.elong.com allows to view:
- Australian Dollars (AUD)
- Brazilian Real
- British Pounds (GBP)
- Canadian Dollars (CAD)
- Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY)
- Danish Krone (DKK)
- Euros (EUR)
- Hong Kong Dollars (HKD)
- Indian Rupee (INR)
- Israeli New Shekel (ILS)
- Japanese Yen (JPY)
- Mexican Peso (MXN)
- Norwegian Kroner (NOK)
- Russian Rouble (RUB)
- Singaporean Dollars (SGD)
- South Korean Won (KRW)
- Swedish Krona (SEK)
- Swiss Franc (CHF)
- United States Dollars (USD)
Thus, due to this reason, we are unable to extend the Guarantee for this claim.
