Passport Exemptions:
Holders of Emergency or Temporary passports.
Document Validity:
Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least 6 months on arrival.
Former nationals of the Philippines, their immediate family members and immediate family members of nationals of the Philippines can enter with passports valid on arrival. Place of birth in the Philippines does not necessarily qualify as being a former national of the Philippines. Evidence considered would be a previously held Filipino passport, documents proving parents are Filipino or similar documentary proof.
Holders of a visa under Sec. 9 (except Sec. a.), and 47 can enter with passports valid less than 6 months on arrival provided there is an embassy or consulate of country of nationality in the Philippines (with valid ACR I-Card, where applicable).
Admission and Transit Restrictions:
Return/onward ticket is required to travel to the Philippines.
Exempt are holders of an APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) provided endorsed "Valid for travel to PHL".
Exempt are holders of a "Special non-immigrant visa" issued by the Philippines.
Exempt are former nationals of the Philippines (Balikbayans), and when traveling together; their spouses and children.

Passport number and nationality must match those stated on the APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC).

Visa Exemptions:
A max. stay of 7 days to holders of: A max. stay of 7 days for holders of normal passports issued by China (People's Rep.), provided traveling for touristic purposes and holding a valid visa issued by Australia, Canada, Japan, USA or a Schengen Member State . Note: not applicable if visa is a Crew or Transit Visa. Holders of proof of being former nationals of the Philippines (Balikbayans) will be admitted for a max. stay of 1 year. Accepted proof: previously held Filipino passport, documents proving parents are Filipino, birth certificate, etc.
Spouses and children are granted visa exception only when travelling together with the former nationals of the Philippines and if handled by the same immigration officer. Holders of an APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) provided endorsed "Valid for travel to PHL".
Hong Kong (SAR China) or Macao (SAR China) passports;

Additional Information:
Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay and documents required for their next destination.Length of stays are calculated by starting on the next day after the day of arrival in the Philippines.
Minors:
Foreign minors, aged up to/incl. 14 years, not residing in the Philippines and traveling without parents require a Waiver of Exclusion Ground (WEG), obtained from consular representation prior to departure. Exempt are those meeting parents in the Philippines, who must be at the airport to meet the minor; dual nationals holding a Philippine passport, which must be presented and the holder is admitted as a national of the Philippines; previously recognized as a Philippine national holding a Philippine Identification Certificate; or unmarried minors with Philippine ancestry, accompanied by a grandparent, guardian or relative who must be able to provide proof of the minor's ancestry.
Minors travelling accompanied by parents whose surname is not the same as the surname of the minor should carry proof of their relationship.
Warning:
Return/onward ticket is required to travel to the Philippines; visitors arriving without a printed return/onward ticket will be refused entry. Tickets in an electronic format (laptop, phone) are not accepted.
